TIDAL music streaming – Review & Sign up guide

Tidal streaming services review

While big names like Spotify, Amazon Music, Pandora, and their likes dominate the music streaming scenes with almost similar features. There are lots of other music streaming services pushing through to the top and Tidal is one of them.

Like other music streaming services, Tidal music streaming service offers both music and video streaming services but focuses on lossless audio quality and high definition music video with special features and a unique business offer for artists. It has an attractive royalty package for artists and songwriters.

Tidal was launched in 2014 by Aspiro a Norwegian public company. It was acquired by Jay-Z’s Project Panther Bidco Ltd. in 2015 and it is currently co-owned by other musicians which include Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Calvin Haris, T.I, Jay-Z, and others. The company claims that the ownership pattern helps to make a variety of music available for streaming while making more money available for paying its artists. It is said to be the first artist-owned music streaming service.
