Using your Smartwatch
Step 1: Power your Watch and tap on the App Store icon on the home screen.
Step 2: Tap on the Search bar and select either Dictation or Scribble to input the app name. Also, you can scroll down to see featured apps.
Step 3: Now, tap on the app you want to install and tap on Get if it is a free app or on the price if it is a paid app.
Step 4: Next double tap on the prompt that reads Double Click to Install the app on your Smartwatch.
Your app will be installed on your Smartwatch, however, it is noteworthy that all apps downloaded on your Apple Smartwatch will appear on the iPhone connected to your watch, to change this setting you can open your iPhone, go to the iTunes & App Store and turn off Apps under Automatic Downloads.
Using your iPhone or iPad
All apps that comes with Apple Watch companion will appear on your WatchOS automatically. However, if you want to install app without such settings, below is how to go about it.
Step 1: Open the Watch App on your iPhone or iPad.
Step 2: From the options under My Watch, tap on General and turn off Automatic App Install by sliding the button by the right.
Step 3: Go back to My Watch options and scroll through the Available Apps.
Step 4: Tap on the install button next to the app you want to install and allow the installation to finish.
The app will automatically appear on your Smartwatch.
